Round 5 Confessional [A Fracture in the Alliance]

I'm growing more and more annoyed with Zooey. She's actually terribly obnoxious in almost every way. She's so passive aggressive about things that don't go her way, and just overall sort of mean. My alliance is too good to ditch though, so I'll have to live with her until later.

The plan for this round is to boot Brant. I really don't see him as too much of a valuable ally, because he's not in my core 5 and he voted against me despite us being allies. Plus, if he's not on jury then he can't vote against me in a final 2 situation. I know it's a bit early to be planning jury votes, but it's not an awful thing to keep in mind.

So yeah, with Brant gone, there will be 9 of us left. I sort of see one more person going to the ashes, bringing us to 8, and then someone coming back and that making the jury. And we play the rest of the game out with those 9.

Also, Kristen told me that she has the Bronze POV... not sure if I mentioned that. I don't think any of the others have been given out as of yet, unless one of the prizes from last round was not actually what it was. I know that Kristen has the bronze POV and that the DPOV is still out there (a la James). I certainly expect to see more of these coming out soon. Probably next round, even.

If I were to win HOH next round, I would nominate Badger and Hilarie. I still feel like they're the two I'm most distant with. I connect with Amy and Hal a lot more.

FIRST OF ALL LET ME SAY UGH

I didn't realize that Marcia the Moose thread was a competition. I didn't pay any attention to the thread at all... I just thought it was some random bullshit. Someone has that POV for sure... and I have no idea who. Ugh. At least it's probably the steel POV.

I need to be on my toes for the next possible POV. It could be coming at any time, and if it's diamond I'll do anything for it.

This week, I had planned on nominating Hilarie and Badger if I won, but now Hilarie and I just sort of made a deal. This is good because she's one of 3 people outside of my alliance that could win HOH, and I need to make sure I'm safe outside of that. I really don't know what Badger would do, but I'm sure Hal would keep me safe.

This is where I run into a huge problem if I win. I have no fucking clue who my second nominee would be. I would feel like shit doing Amy, Hilarie or Hal, and I'd look like an awful person too. I think I would have to end up doing Hal and just saying that is what the house wants... since that's what my alliance wants and my alliance is the majority of the house. It'd be good to send him into the Ashes in the offchance that it would either be him or Tom coming back, since they're known to be a duo. Ugh. This sucks though.

I would like to not win so long as someone in my alliance did. We'll have to see though. Meh. Being afraid of being HOH is definitely one of my biggest weaknesses in the game. I need to learn to man up!

I have mixed feelings about Hal winning. On the one hand, I'm happy because I'm safe for the week... but then there's this whole deal with my alliance.

I feel sort of badly about it. You know, evicting Shay. But I have to play for myself. I can't just be a member in an alliance and let people stay in the game that would come after me. I didn't like how Kristen and Zooey stifled my voice when I said I wanted to take out Shay, and I shouldn't regret doing it anyway. Brittany wanted to do it, and James ended up siding with us. I really think that Brittany and James are very close, but I like them more than Kristen and Zooey. It's too early to decide what to do with that, though. Way too early.

This week, I just have to hope that one of those girls come off the block, and Hal decides to put up Amy/Hilarie/Badger in their place. Our alliance has the votes to keep whoever we want if only one of our allies is up. We'll just have to see how things go moving forward.

Oh, and Hal made an alliance with me. Of course he did. And I couldn't say no, but I really didn't want the alliance. So now he's expecting me not to use veto if I win it, which means I'll more likely than not throw it. My best case scenario for the week would be as follows:

Zooey wins veto
Kristen uses BPOV on Zooey; Zooey uses POV on Kristen
Hal puts up someone/Amy
Amy is evictJiggle.

Amy is, overall, a big threat in this game. She's physically, socially and strategically strong, but I don't necessarily feel comfortable nominating her just yet. I'd rather see her leave on someone else's HOH.

I'm also hoping that the Ashes ends soon. It's hard not knowing if people are going to come back into the game or not.

Well I worked really hard on trying to get Hal to put up someone else, but I think it was to no avail. Which sucks. I kept telling him that since Zooey will stay against anyone, he should consider taking out a bigger threat than Kristen. I don't really know if he was just not understanding, or not interestJiggle. Whatever.

So now it's ~likely~ that Zooey and Kristen will be the final noms and well, fuck that. The finalizers are in trouble. Obviously it'd be great if one of them could just come back into the game! But I don't see it being that easy. While one of them definitely has a shot at winning redemption, I honestly have no idea what their stance is going to be on the alliance upon returning. It scares me.

Kristen sort of expects to have my vote/I sort of told her she had it. IDK. I thought that either her or Zooey would fight harder for veto. That suckJiggle. But I know Zooey is going to be expecting my vote because we were in the original Alex's Angels together. And I would rather keep Zooey anyway. I feel like she's less manipulative, albeit more passive-aggressive.

I will probably just end up doing what James and Brittany do, but I'm not going to rest for pestering Hal about taking one of them down. He just needs to want to target Hilarie/Amy instead. That would be glorious. Ugh this sucks.

Zooey and I just formed a pretty strong alliance. We are trying to get Kristen to veto her, so we can evict the replacement nominee over Kristen. Even if it's James or Brittany. We need someone who will go the Ashes and kick some ass. Either of them could do it, really. We just don't want Tom to come back. Or Shay. Or Brant. Ugh.

Well if everyone is supposedly super close to James, Zooey and I are doing a good job of trying to make it about us. Now that Kristen is leaving I don't feel as compelled to 100% play for the alliance. I have most of this game in a great spot with me, with the exception of Badger. But I have:

My core alliance: Zooey, James and Brittany
My sub alliance: Zooey and Hilarie
and an alliance with Hal.

That's everyone but Badger. So next week, I will try and hopefully win HOH. I can put up the returning player alongside Badger, and hope to keep nominations the same. Then my duty to win HOH is off of my shoulders for at least a few weeks, and I can just maintain all of the alliances that I have. I just want to maintain this UTR/good position that I have in the house.

Just told Kristen and Hal that I'm keeping Zooey, against both of their wishes. Theyre probably pissed but oh well. Zooey is in two of my alliances and is my closest ally in this game I think. Either her or Brittany. Hopefully Kristen actually leaves though

Some of the votes were guesses but this will be a good reference point for the future. I have spent far too much time preparing stuff for this game... oh well homework sucks
