Well that vote was a lot closer than I thought it would be.
I am so happy that I stayed though. Yesterday fucking suckJiggle. I got three hours of sleep from all the HW I didn't do over break, and I hardly finished it all. God knows what the grades on those papers will be... anyway!
Shay and Badger can't compete this week, which is wonderful, those are definitely two people I could see putting me up, and those would likely be my nominations should I win HOH.
I still trust Brant. I know that he was worried about being in the minority again, and people weren't exactly honest with him. Plus, I'm not about to throw away an alliance with someone that still wants it with me.
Thank god for Kristen. This girl is a godsend. Not only did she vote against a vet to keep me in the game, she also put a huge target on her back, and our alliance isn't even official! You go girl! I like Kristen a lot, but I'm glad she took the target off of me.
I still am into my alliance of Brittany, James and Zooey. I'm glad I was a part of setting that up, because without it being so firm I probably wouldn't have stayed last week. It's definitely going to be a huge part of this game.
Now the people I'm worried about: Hal and Hilarie. Hil's the one person where if she won this HOH, I don't know what she'd do. I kept her safe, and I hope she remembers that, but as Shay proved "retroactive deals" don't work. We connected the other night, but we'll have to see how things go if she wins.
If Hal wins, I can expect to go up. With Brittany. That would be absolutely tragic, though Brittany would leave over me. But I don't want to think about that right now. Since Badger and Shay would be my nominations, I'm going to try and make deals with Hilarie and Hal. Hopefully it works.
I really want someone in my alliance to win HOH. We have a great shot at it, and I'd feel safe if Amy won too. Right now, I gotta go search for Words, but man am I happy to be here. |

I know this pretty website called morewords.com and I home that it helped me find more words. Heh. But actually, I really want to win my heat to take Hal and Brant out of the competition. Especially Hal. He'd likely nominate me. Also worried about Hilarie, if she wins, but I don't think she has a great shot at it. Kristen and James have proven strong and are likely to beat her. I don't really care who emerges victorious out of the last heat, though Amy is the ultimate wild card. I feel like her and I have connected so that's nice.
I just feel like my social game isn't up to par with what it normally is. I need something to boost me out of this rut, but I'm not sure what. A fuck ton of homework isn't helping anything. Hopefully I'll find some time to play catch up socially, but it's getting to the point where it'll be too little too late. In a way I'm going to need to depend on my alliance to get me far.
Here's to hoping that Hilarie and Hal don't win! Yay! |

Amy was the best case-scenario for someone in my alliance not winning. Hopefully she feels as though we have connected enough for her to keep me safe. I feel as though we have, but I have no fucking clue what she's going to do. I'll be on ASAP to talk to her. Fuck school.

Thursdays are my super buys days, but Amy promised me safety yesterday. I can only hope that she holds up with her end of the deal. I don't see why she wouldn't!

Yay for being safe this week, along with my alliance.
Brittany and I talked a bit more about Brant. I can't believe that he's been lying to me so much. Apparently he was pitching for me to leave. I'm not sure that I'd nominate him if I won HOH, but I'm definitely wary of our alliance. Brittany said she explicitly told him that she was keeping me, which he said she didn't do. I would hope that he wouldn't nominate me if he won HOH, but he apparently thinks I have too many allies (maybe I do.)
I am worried about my socialization though. I still feel like it's not up to par, as in, I don't know what Badger or Hilarie would do.
My goal for this week is to send out Hal. I nominated him two weeks ago so him leaving would be great. It will also help solidify my relationship with Kristen. I consider her the closest person to me in this house outside of my alliance, even if she is a threat.

This POV I decided to go for one of the mystery prizes. I think that one could be one of the special POVs could be in there, or something helpful. The intel one would just make me paranoid and the extra vote would be nice, but would put a good amount of pressure on me. Here's to winning the mystery prize and it being good!

I'm honestly super pumped for this alliance. Having another vote in our favor is going to be a great way to make sure all of us make jury. And then we're majority once we're there, too. This week, we are unfortunately not majority if none of us are nominated solely because of Brant's extra vote. There are 9 votes in play this week... okay wait maybe we are. Ugh simple math when it's late.
The most important thing to me right now is winning the next HOH. It's going to be an important week, that's for sure. And I want Shay gone before jury, because I don't see any reality in which I get her vote. So yeah, that needs to happen. I can't control the Ashes, but I can at least hope.

So I just spent all of this time updating my "Game Things" thread, which is all pretty with spoiler tags now. I love it! Hopefully I can make it far enough to put it to good use.
With Brant's extra vote, we can't control this week if one of my allies goes up (Brittany, Zooey or James.) Because then we only have 4 votes, and Shay/Hilarie/Badger/Brantx2 have 5. I may still have control over Brant, but I really can't guarantee that. I can't see myself going up from Amy, but I'm not too confident my entire alliance is safe. They'll have to work on their relationships with at least one of those people to keep them safe, but hopefully the alliance lines aren't too obvious. I fear that they are from the last eviction, though.
So yeah, it is definitely of utmost importance that one of Shay/Hilarie/Badger/Brant goes up. In any of those cases, except maybe Shay, I would like to see Hal leave. He's one of the strongest physically, next to our alliance, so he'd just complicate things. Though, Hilarie showed a lot of challenge prowess today, and Shay has won HOH before. So really Brant and Badger are the safest to go up, because they're for sure weaker than Hal in challenges. Brant would be the smartest nomination, because it would flush his extra vote that he could save for later rounds.
The problem with trying to get any of them to go up, is that I have to throw them under the bus. I don't want to get caught doing that, that's for sure. I'll probably just throw Shay under the bus, since that's expected, and go from there. Honestly, I wouldn't mind Shay sticking around, since I'd like to nominate her if I win HOH. I don't really see her as being more of a threat than Hal physically, just that she's directly after me, whereas I don't think Hal is. So maybe it'd be better to try and get rid of her, then. Hard to say!
My next goal in the game is to get to the jury with my entire alliance. To do that, we need to get to the final 8 if people are still at the Ashes. That way, when and if someone comes back, we are still at that 9 marker. While jury is a great goal to have, I plan to exceed it. Unfortunately, I feel like I'm going to be more and more dependent on my alliance but who knows what Badger and Hilarie would do? So many questions. |

Well, I fought with my alliance a bit, but James didn't care, Brittany wasn't there, and Kristen and Zooey wanted Hal gone so I lost. Looks like Hal's going to go. I was a bit annoyed with Zooey who didn't even consider that booting Shay could be a better move. I understand that Hal is probably the bigger threat overall, but whatever. I am less worried going into the final 10, because if one of us is nominated, then we still have majority. We only lose if two of us are nominatJiggle.
I feel bad having lied to Hal, but I told him I would/could keep him in the game. And I can't. Oh well, I'm not every vote.
So I guess my best move is to try and strike a deal with Shay. I want her to keep me safe, and nominate someone else alongside Amy, if she wins the next HOH. I can dream, right? Hopefully I see her online, and she pleads for my vote. It'd be weird to go to her and like... bargain with my vote for safety. IDK. I'll make a deal with her if she comes to me.
Zooey is in the best position in this game. She's in the middle of this strong alliance, and no one outside of the alliance wants her gone. Just keeping an eye out on that. For now, evicting Hal and going for the next HOH. |

I changed my vote because I think some people are leaning toward keeping Hal. I really want Shay gone, and there's no sense in me keeping someone in this game who would nominate me. It just is dumb. I understand being part of the alliance and all, but really, it's not even a majority decision within the alliance. Brittany and I want Shay gone, while Kristen and Zooey want Hal gone. James is in the middle aka he doesn't care. So I'm voting the way I'm voting, and I don't give two shits about what anyone else things.
Through a slightly more strategic lens, this will help us mask the alliance. So yeah.
