I am super stoked for this cast. Like, to be honest, I can barely find a weak link (well, I could, but let's not name any names until they prove if they've changed). I think there are a lot of strong contenders in here, and I'm very excited for a good handful of the returnees to get their 2nd chance.

I think this cast looks very promising and I can't wait to see how the newbs do in the game. There are so many good lookin' people in this crew. Let the games begin.

And Penn, I think I like these second chances a lot more than some of the people who made all stars lol.

OMG these players are ruthless, active, and I love it!

Props to Hal for orchestrating a plan to ensure that the Vets control which of them go to the Ashes. Will it work? Perhaps. I'm sad that it's Amy who is apparently going to be the one who gets eliminated, but I think it's awesome that Hal is making a move this early. That kind of play will get him farther than he got in season 6 and I love it. 

A quick rundown on others who are standing out to me...

Amy- many mentions of her struggling to keep convos interesting. She's not gonna last.
Hilarie- playing a great early social game from what I can tell
James- alliance central... Double Agent ftw
Jennifer- got a lot of positive feedback from others, seems to be an early newb favorite
Kristen- OTTP biatch. She's playing super hard. Will she fall just as hard? I hope not.
Madonna- hearing her name a lot, super active <3

The rest haven't really jumped out for any particular reason. Doesn't mean anything though. The game is just beginning, and I think there are still a lot of people who are getting the heads wrapped around all aspects of this season. The above list just were either mentioned a lot, or they've been super active in the DR. But just to give a comment on EVERYONE...

Alex- excited to see him play as I was aligned with him in a game years ago. Seems solid.
Boof- could be a sleeper? haven't heard a lot from him, aside from him aligning with Kristen
Brant- Quiet so far, but I think he might do ok. No complaints yet.
Brittany- Did a nice DR sesh, but not a lot of insight as to where she's gonna fall just yet, but I picked her for my team bc I think she could turn out to be a decent player
Jiggle- Got a late start, and he's worried it will be used against him. I think he will do fine. A lot of potential if you ask me.
Jude- Was expecting a little more out of him early game, but not making any judgements yet. 
Omarosa- Claims she's here to cut some throats. Can't wait to see if she can live up to her own hype.
Shay- Mentioned here and there. Seems her social game is lacking so far?
Toby- Loved his first video DR. I still think he's a fish in a pool of sharks. Can he adapt and survive?
Tom- Super pumped to watch him. I hope he brings his A game, bc it's just THAT good if he does.
Zooey- A little less visible than I remember from season 7 early game, but I think she'll be fine. Can't wait to see her play again.

Chris is MIA in his series, I was told he has no internet access........And where was I? I was over in Starz 7, having no clue this was cast, started or that I was a Housecalls hahaha

Well, I wanted to let you back on HC this season, because I felt you were the most involved last season. It's not that there weren't other great options, because honestly, I had a list a mile long of potential HC (people who wanted to and people who I thought would be good), but at the same time, I wanted the viewers' lounge to be just as active. So I just stuck with my typical HC's in Levine, Melba, Chris, and then kept you, Channing (to reward your efforts in S7), and added Rachel, since she was an original HC in season 1, and I think she does a fantastic job in the HC social department. So welcome aboard again!

I just now looked through everyones DRs and was gonna post initial thoughts.

Of the newbies, JLaw is clearly the most popular (which is a testament to being very social and picking a player that is beloved without being controversial) its weird that its like that but characters that fit the mold (Channing Tatum, Rachel McAdams, Adam Levine, Mel B, Chris Evans, Reese Witherspoon, NPH, Keira Knightley etc) get a leg up coming into the game versus someone like Omarosa who is so disliked or someone who people just don't know at all. I remember in my season being initially turned off by Miranda Sings cause I had no idea who she was and her character looked strange. She still did great in the game but I remember a lot of people commenting on not wanting to be around her at the beginning because of that.

I like Brant also, he is new to the series and worried about not knowing anyone, I felt the same way my season and I really hate pre-game stuff outside of an All-Starz season. Also of the newbiez I kinda liked Jiggle and Brittany.

And as far as the Vetz, Amy is obviously history thanks to Hal......Excited about Hal making a move this early, he was one of my favorite people in season 6, as was Tom so Im glad he is playing again also. Kristen is hilarious so I hope she does pretty well. I think Hilarie is the 'star veteran' right now and I think its really going to hurt her. She has alliances being offered to her at every angle and obviously she has to accept them, but when it comes down to her breaking them people are going to freak out and be very upset with her even though it really isn't her fault that they offered her an alliance, versus James who seems to just be throwing his snatch at anything that moves and is just making alliances, just to make alliances.

Final note, I really like Toby as a person and I like his video confessional, but in our season one of the best moments ever was the final 4 challenge where we had to guess what the rest of the cast thought about us. Toby thought he was like the star player and literally nobody felt that way at all. We just thought we were dragging him all season. Now this time he ranked himself in the top tier of the game, meanwhile I haven't even seen one person mention him at all good or bad in their confessional. So while I think he's a nice guy, I see a repeat of season 6 here.
