Welcome season 8 cast! To some of you, welcome back. If it's not apparent yet, this season is a spin on a "Fans vs. Faves" style game, where I've brought back 9 previous Starz to compete against 9 brand new players in the Starz community.
However, rather than bringing back "Favorites," I've brought back 9 players who I felt needed another go at proving why they deserved to be given a spot in All-Starz 2. Whether they were booted too early, got a bad break, or just weren't quite sparkly enough when compared to the other Starz in their season, these 9 players are back with something to prove, and they have the advantage of knowing what to expect within the Starz house. But it won't be easy.
Opposite them, there are 9 players who are fighting for the same chance: to go down in Starz history and earn their spot to play against some of the best that Starz has to offer next season as well. These 9 players have the advantage of a clean slate. Their past gameplay in the Starz house will not be used against them like it could be for the other 9 returnees. But do they have the same drive of those who were given a 2nd chance?
It's going to be a crazy season, so let me introduce you to the two main twists that this season will present you:
From the Ashes I'm sure many of you have already taken note that there's a special sequester board called "From the Ashes." And, I'm certain that it doesn't take a genius to figure out that it's going to be a "Redemption Island" style twist.
Because this season's theme is Rebirth, players will not be completely out of the running for winning when they are evicted from the Starz house. Rather, they will go to the "From the Ashes" board where they will have an opportunity to earn their way back into the game. There are not set rules on how this will work, aside from the fact that there will be players given the chance to re-enter the game, so consider yourself warnJiggle. (I'm never a fan of games where players re-enter the game without prior knowledge that it's a possibility).
When/If you're evicted, you will be sent to the Ashes sequester, where you will be informed about how this area of the game will work. Your activity is even more crucial at this point, because if you miss a deadline, you will automatically be eliminated for good. We don't want inactive/apathetic players given a 2nd chance if they don't deserve it. Once you are eliminated from the Ashes board, you will take your place in the appropriate sequester house (pre-jury or jury), and that will be your true end in the Starz 8 game, with no chance to return at that point.
All of the Ashes plans have been pre-decided, and there is no apparent pattern as to when players will be eliminated, return to the game, or even how many players will be in the Ashes at any given time. You have to be flexible and prepared for anything if you want to truly succeed in this season.
Finally, for the 2nd twist, it's a little simpler, but still could change the game drastically, nonetheless.
The Vetoes There are 4 "special" vetoes that you could earn this season. Some of them are standard vetoes that you've seen in many Big Brother games before, but each of these vetoes can be earned/found/awarded in a special way that will not be disclosJiggle. You never know when or how you might acquire one of these 4 vetoes. But know that there is exactly 1 of each, and once it is used, it will NOT return to the game. Also, note that these 4 special vetoes will be VOID once the game reaches the final 6, so the final 7 is the last opportunity to use one if you have it. One more rule is that certain vetoes will trump other vetoes. They are listed in the order of power. So, if you play a special veto, someone else could play a more powerful veto and "trump" your veto. The higher power of veto will take place over the lower power of veto.
The Bronze PoV allows you to save someone from the nomination chair, however the Bronze PoV cannot be used to save yourself. This PoV must be used during the normal PoV ceremony. You cannot use this PoV if any of the other special PoVs have already been used this round.
The Steel PoV is very similar to a regular PoV, however, when used, it weighs you down to the point that you cannot compete in the next HoH competition. Use the Steel PoV during the normal PoV ceremony to save yourself or someone else. If the Bronze PoV has already been used, the HoH MAY select the person who was Bronze PoVed as the replacement nominee since Steel trumps Bronze. You may not use this PoV if the special Silver or Diamond PoVs have been usJiggle.
The Silver PoV is just like your standard Gold PoV that you win in a PoV competition. It's able to be used to save any nominee from the block at any point during the PoV ceremony. If the Bronze or Steel PoVs have already been used, the HoH may select the person who was Bronze or Steel PoVed as the replacement nominee since Silver trumps Bronze and Steel. If the Steel PoV was trumped, the person who used it is eligible again to compete in the HoH next round since their veto was trumpJiggle. You cannot play this PoV if the Diamond PoV has already been usJiggle.
The Diamond PoV is the most powerful of the PoVs. It allows you to save any nominee from eviction, and also allows you to name the replacement nominee who will take their place. You cannot, however, nominate the HoH or normal PoV winner, and unless there are no other options, you cannot nominate anybody who had been saved with the normal PoV that round. Use this during the PoV ceremony. If any of the other special vetoes have been used, whoever was saved by the special veto IS able to be named as a replacement nominee (unless they are the normal PoV winner or were saved by the normal PoV). Diamond trumps all other vetoes. If the Steel veto was trumped by the Diamond veto, the person who used the Steel veto can still compete in HoH next round since their veto was trumpJiggle.
You WILL know when you've acquired a special veto, as I will post in your Diary Room to signify that you have earned/found/been awarded it. So, you may NOT try to post fake vetoes in the ceremonies. If you do, you will be expellJiggle. You may, however, lie about whether or not you have a veto in your possession if you wish. But attempting to post a fake special veto in order to see how someone might react to it being played will NOT be toleratJiggle.
So, that was a lot to digest, but hopefully you made it through. If you have any questions, feel free to PM me or find me on AIM. The first HoH will start Monday evening! That gives you all almost 2 days to get to know your fellow houseguests. Good luck!

{HOH 1: The Take Off} ((Posted early so you can enjoy some extra time to work on this HoH since it's social.)) Welcome to your first HoH challenge! Hope you guys are ready to set flight in this game... But before I begin, I will explain how the twist will work. As you all know, there are 9 returning players and 9 brand new players. There will be 2 Head of Households this week, one from each group (1 veteran and 1 newbie). The Veteran HoH will be nominating houseguests from the Newbies, and the Newbie HoH will nominate houseguests from the Veterans. Then, there will be a PoV winner from each group, and they will decide if they want to use the PoV within their group (Veterans can only veto Veterans and Newbies can only veto Newbies). Also, any special vetoes that might be played this round can only be played within your group (Newbies can only play a special PoV within their group and Veterans can only play a special PoV within their group). As well, the Veteran and the Newbie who score the lowest in this HoH challenge will automatically be sent to the 'From the Ashes' board, so you will definitely need to do your best to do well. And, since Big Brother is a highly social game, that will play a big role in how this challenge pans out. Here are the rules: For this challenge, you will need to complete as many Pilot Uniforms as possible. To complete a Pilot Uniform you need to acquire a Hat, Goggles, and Jacket.
1 Hat + 1 Goggles + 1 Jacket = 1 Complete Pilot Uniform.
1) Each of you have 5 Hats, 5 Goggles, and 5 Jackets that you start with, but you MUST give away all 15 of these items.
2) Hats MUST be given to people in the same group as you. (Veterans must give hats to other Veterans, Newbies must give hats to other Newbies)
3) Goggles MUST be given to people in the opposite group as you. (Veterans must give goggles to Newbies, Newbies must give goggles to Veterans)
4) Jackets may be given to any houseguest, regardless of group.
5) You can give more than 1 of an item to a houseguest. Example: you can give 5 hats to the same person.
In the end, the Veteran with them most complete Pilot Uniforms will win HoH for the Vets. And the Newbie with the most complete Pilot Uniforms will win the HoH for the Newbs. In the case of a tie, the player with the most overall pieces of pilot apparel will win. As well, the Veteran and Newbie with the least amount of complete Pilot Uniforms will be automatically sent to the From the Ashes board. In the case that it's a tie, the one with the least amount of overall pilot apparel will lost the tie-breaker.
Finally, in case the above tie-breaker qualifications do not break the tie, please answer this question: How many complete Pilot Uniforms will be collected? (Closest without going over will win)
Note: It will be revealed who gave what to whom.
Please submit your list of 15 items and who they go to in your DR no later than 7pm EST Tuesday. I am making this challenge a little longer due to the social aspect and the fact that we have a large cast. Remember, failure to complete a deadline (whether it's a challenge, voting, etc.) can result in a strike. Accumulated strikes result in your expulsion from the game.
Good luck!
{HOH 1: Results } Don't you all look adorable in your pilot outfits? Let's see who was the best & worst for each group.
Starting with the Newbs!
- 2 complete pilot outfits
- 4 complete pilot outfits
- 4 complete pilot outfits
- 4 complete pilot outifts
- 3 complete pilot outfits
- 4 complete pilot outfits
The above players were flying toward the middle of the pack.
That leaves Brittany, Jude, and Madonna. One will be HoH, one is safe, and one will be sent to the Ashes.
And now for the Vets!
- 5 complete pilot outfits
- 5 complete pilot outfits
- 5 complete pilot outfits
- 5 complete pilot outifts
- 5 complete pilot outfits
The above players were flying toward the middle of the pack.
That leaves Amy, Hilarie, James, and Zooey. One will be HoH, two are safe, and one will be sent to the Ashes.
- 5 complete pilot outfits
- 1 complete pilot outfit
- 0 complete pilot outfits
*Jude wasn't able to send his items to anybody due to personal reasons. I will not give him a strike. However, he did receive the least amount of complete pilot uniforms, which means he will be sent to the Ashes.
Congrats, Brittany, you are the first HoH for the Newbs!
- 5 complete pilot outfits (19 total pieces)
- 5 complete pilot outfits (24 total pieces)
- 0 complete pilot outfits
- 2 complete pilot outfits
With that, I am sorry Amy, but you have been sent to the Ashes. James, you are the first Vet HoH. Congrats!
Your nomination ceremonies will be up shortly.

{Announcement About Images} Hey everyone. I'm excited to announce a new feature that I've put into the forum. Someone recommended this idea, and I finally figured out how to do it. But anyways, using text shortcuts, I have programmed it so that the memory wall photos, avatars, and keys of all houseguests can be posted without needing to know the url or using the image code. It's quite simple!
To post a houseguest's memory wall photo, just type their first name with mw at the end. Example: pennmw To post a houseguest's avatar, just type their first name with av at the end. Example:pennavbr]To post a houseguest's key, just type their first name with key at the end. Example: pennkey
If anyone has any other suggestions for images that are frequently used that they would like text shortcuts for, just let me know! Enjoy!

{Nomination Ceremony 1: James} Ok normally it be ladies first but Britt apparently needed her beauty sleep so I'll hop up on the soapbox. The first week its always a difficult balance in trying to figure out who to nominate and this was no different. After speaking with many of you I feel like these nominations are a fair assessment of what the majority of people thought was fair or justified along with my own personal input. With that said I will pull the keys in no particular order: Alex you are safe! Jiggle you are safe! Jennifer you are safe! [brmadonnakeybr]Madonna you are safe! And lastly........... Shay you are safe! As you can see I have nominated and for eviction. First up Brant, we just haven't really made a connection as the few talks we had were very short. Most people have expressed trouble communicating with you as well so Im not sure if its you're busy right now or what but hopefully if anything is holding you back you overcome it. Secondly Omarosa, Im not sure quite what to think of you girl and I think a lot of the cast feels that way as well. You came out like this little spitfire and sometimes it can be overwhelming and I feel like you may have made a lot of promises too quick which may have set off some alarms with some people. I wish you both the best of luck in the veto and again this was a difficult decision as it seems people were all over the place just as the challenge showJiggle. Brittany the floor is now yours......... {Nomination Ceremony 1: Brittany} ...Well alrighty then. Good riddance to Michelle Obamarosa. Sorry this took so long to post guys! Been a pretty busy day for me and I'm just getting around a computer. As HOH this week, I unfortunately have to nominate two players for eviction. Not just players, but veterans to this series that are here for their second chance at the spotlight. I know you all deserve to be here, but for this first round of nominations, I have to do what I have to do. In a game as social as this, communication is key. And it's pretty much the foundation for my nominations this week. And with that...Badger, you are safe.Kristen, you are safe.Tom, you are safe.Hilarie, you are safe.Last key goes to:Toby. As you can see from those that remain, I have decided to nominate: and
Like I have stated above, communication is key. Especially in a game like this where social ability is so definitively stressJiggle. I know everyone has busy days, school, and work schedules, but I had to make a decision in what I felt was the fairest way possible. Best of luck in the veto competitions! Shine and show us what you got because I know you both have it in you.
And with that, nomination ceremonies are adjournJiggle.

{POV 1: Take it Off} Remember, Newbs do NOT have to do the PoV challenge, but are welcome to compete anyways, strictly to help increase their player ranking by brining in a W. Also, because I forgot to address it, and it hasn't been asked yet: HoHs compete for veto with the opposite group. Meaning, James does NOT need to compete in PoV unless he wishes. Brittany is fighting for the Vets PoV, so that she can choose to keep the nominees the same if she wishes. Otherwise, all vets are playing to veto a vet, and all newbs would be playing to veto a newb (except they don't have to with Omarosa's departure). After Taking Off in the HoH, and donning yourselves with all that sexy pilot gear, it's time to shed the clothes in this PoV as you all work to Take it Off. Celebrities often endorse companies, and the clothing market is full of starz who help to advertise for name brands and famous fashion designers. For this challenge, take a look at the image below. You will notice that there are logos from numerous clothing stores, name brands, fashion designers (and all other things clothes related) ghosted in the image. Your task is to correctly identify as many of the logos as possible.
Making a correct guess will earn you +1 point. Making an incorrect guess will lose you -1 point. Therefore, it is not wise to make frivolous guesses. If you guess incorrectly, you could end up hurting your score. The risk is yours to take if you think you know a logo, but aren't sure.
One final rule is that you MUST list your logos in alphabetical order (this makes the scoring much simpler for me, and in turn, gets your results back faster). Failure to abide by this particular rule will result in a -10 penalty to your score (essentially preventing you from any shot of winning). Please submit your answers in your DR challenge thread no later than 8pm EST Thursday.
The winner will be the houseguest with the highest score. Tie-Breaker: What will the average score be for those who complete the challenge correctly? Closest without going over will win. For those of you new to this series, if you forget to do the tie-breaker and the person you tied with remembers to post theirs, they automatically win. Good luck! {POV 1 Results} Hey guys! It's time to see which of you was the best at stripping. I mean... let's see who knows their clothing brands.
((Jiggle and Jennifer were the only ones who opted to do the PoV for fun. Jiggle scored 11, Jennifer scored 14, which means Jennifer gets the PoV win strictly for the purpose of stats.))
Scroll down to see the results of Brittany vs. the Vets!
Congrats, Hal! PoV ceremony up shortly.

{POV Ceremony 1: Hal} I am really happy to have won the veto. Not gonna draw it out...
I will be using the veto on myself.
Brittany, as HOH it is now your duty to name a replacement. {POV Ceremony 1: Brittany} Very well In the spirit of being efficient, I'm not going to draw this out much either! Congratulations to both Hal and Zooey in the challenge! You both worked very hard and I'm proud of you both! With that being said, I unfortunately now have to make this round a disaster for a third individual, which really sucks. It's never easy to have to do this in the first round, but I have to go with who I feel is really here to play. Based on activity and levels of communication, I unfortunately have to nominate.... Toby, I'm terribly sorry, but I just haven't seen you around much lately and I have no idea where your head is at. I wish you the best regardless of the result. With that being said, this Veto Ceremony is adjournJiggle. Good luck to the final nominees and to the houseguests in their voting.

{Eviction Ceremony 1: Toby vs. Zooey (9-2)} This week in Big Brother Starz 8.0...
9 returning Starz players came back for a 2nd chance at making their mark in Starz history. Against them, 9 brand new faces to Starz decided to take their own shot at the crown. With the idea of redemption being a key component, players were told that their exit from the game wouldn't necessarily be their end. With the From the Ashes sequester, evicted houseguests would have the chance to earn their way back into the running to become the next Starz winner.
In a socially focused pilot themed HoH, newbie Brittay staked her claim in the game, and returnee James secured his first Starz win. The two HoHs were told that they would be nominating two players from the opposite group as them (Newbs vs. Vets). James decided to put up Brant and Omarosa, and shortly after, Omarosa threw a bitch fit and decided to walk away from the game. That left Brant and the rest of the Newbies safe for the week. However, Brittany's two nominees took their stay on the block with a little more grace, one even winning the PoV to safe himself (Hal). At that point, Brittany decided to nominate Toby against Zooey, which leads us to this eviction.
In a moment, either Toby or Zooey will join Amy and Jude in the ashes where they must fight for this to not be their true end in the game.
vs.
In the case of Toby vs. Zooey, there were 11 votes cast. Madonna failed to vote and didn't have a bootlist, which means she will earn a strike.

You have been sent to the Ashes.
Zooey, you are safe.
HoH 2 will be posted tomorrow morning.

{HOH 2: The Full Package}
Hello houseguests! Welcome to your 2nd HoH. For this challenge, I have brought back some of the love from season 7. Below, you will see 24 packages. In 12 of these packages are the names of the 12 houseguests who are eligible to win HoH. In 11 of these packages there is nothing, and in 1 of these packages there is a special veto!
You will have the opportunity to ask 3 questions via PM to Penn. These questions must be answerable with a yes/no response. After you ask them, I will reply with your answers. You must ask them all at once. Then, after you get your answers, you may come here and select to open 1 package. It is first come, first serve.
Once everyone selects a package, I will open them in the order they were selected and reveal if they contained a houseguest or if they were empty. If it contained the special PoV, I will simply say that the package was empty, but in your Diary Room, I will post the truth that you actually received a special PoV. This will keep it a surprise as to who actually gets the special PoV.
The person from each group (Vets and Newbs) whose package is opened LAST will win HoH for their group. Thus, you do NOT want your package opened if you're trying to win HoH. If everyone has opened a package and we still do not have a definitive winner from each group, I will use random.org to finish opening packages.
Brittany and James, even though you cannot win HoH, you MAY open a package to get a chance at winning the special veto. However, you will unfortunately not be permitted to ask Penn any questions.
Sample Questions: Is the Special PoV in an odd numbered package? Will I find Levine in packages 6-10? Is box 1 empty? etc. You have until 8am EST Sunday to ask me questions via PM and select a package. But if you wait until the last minute to ask questions, you obviously might not have your answers right away to be able to select a package. Plan accordingly.
{HOH 2 Results/Madonna Expulsion} First things first. Madonna did not participate, which means she earned another strike. That is two strikes. However, she has also failed to login for almost 72 hours now. With that said, I am sorry to say that Madonna will expelled due to inactivity. If, for some reason, she returns before the end of the round with a valid excuse, I will allow her to participate in the Ashes, otherwise, she has been removed completely from the game.
In light of that news, this round will now only feature 1 Head of Household. It will be the player whose package is opened last in this challenge. They will be permitted to nominate any houseguests, whether Newbie or Veteran, as this was slated to be the last round for the split groups anyways. Thus, only one more houseguest will be leaving this week, putting us down to 12 houseguests in the house. I apologize if this affected any strategy coming into the HoH competition, however part of Big Brother is being prepared for the unexpected, and players going inactive is one aspect that changes up the way the game sometimes is meant to work.
Finally, I accepted both Tom and Shay's request to open a package since both sent me questions before the deadline and due to it being a holiday weekend. Plus, seeing as I wasn't able to get to the results until now anyways, it only seemed fair.
Let's see what was in these packages! Remember, when the package with your name has been opened, you are out of the running for Head of Household.
First Package: 17 Opened by: Brant Contained: Brant Players remaining: Alex, Badger, Jiggle, Hal, Hilarie, Jennifer, Kristen, Shay, Tom, Zooey
Second Package: 15 Opened by: Kristen Contained: Nothing Players remaining: Alex, Badger, Jiggle, Hal, Hilarie, Jennifer, Kristen, Shay, Tom, Zooey
Third Package: 13 Opened by: James Contained: Nothing Players remaining: Alex, Badger, Jiggle, Hal, Hilarie, Jennifer, Kristen, Shay, Tom, Zooey
Fourth Package: 19 Opened by: Badger Contained: Tom Players remaining: Alex, Badger, Jiggle, Hal, Hilarie, Jennifer, Kristen, Shay, Zooey
Fifth Package: 11 Opened by: Zooey Contained: Zooey Players remaining: Alex, Badger, Jiggle, Hal, Hilarie, Jennifer, Kristen, Shay
Sixth Package: 3 Opened by: Brittany Contained: Nothing Players remaining: Alex, Badger, Jiggle, Hal, Hilarie, Jennifer, Kristen, Shay
Seventh Package: 21 Opened by: Hal Contained: Shay Players remaining: Alex, Badger, Jiggle, Hal, Hilarie, Jennifer, Kristen
Eighth Package: 23 Opened by: Jennifer Contained: Hilarie Players remaining: Alex, Badger, Jiggle, Hal, Jennifer, Kristen
Ninth Package: 24 Opened by: Jiggle Contained: Nothing Players remaining: Alex, Badger, Jiggle, Hal, Jennifer, Kristen
Tenth Package: 9 Opened by: Hilarie Contained: Nothing Players remaining: Alex, Badger, Jiggle, Hal, Jennifer, Kristen
Eleventh Package: 7 Opened by: Alex Contained: Nothing Players remaining: Alex, Badger, Jiggle, Hal, Jennifer, Kristen
Twelfth Package: 8 Opened by: Tom Contained: Nothing Players remaining: Alex, Badger, Jiggle, Hal, Jennifer, Kristen
Thirteenth Package: 6 Opened by: Shay Contained: Alex Players remaining: Badger, Jiggle, Hal, Jennifer, Kristen
That leaves 5 houseguests eligible for HoH. I will now use random.org to continue opening packages that contain names in them until only one remains...
Fourteenth Package: 16 Opened by: Penn Contained: Badger Players remaining: Jiggle, Hal, Jennifer, Kristen
Fifteenth Package: 1 Opened by: Penn Contained: Kristen Players remaining: Jiggle, Hal, Jennifer
Sixteenth Package: 18 Opened by: Penn Contained: Hal Players remaining: Jiggle, Jennifer
That means that in a minute, either Jiggle or Jennifer will be the next HoH. One more package to open...
Fifteenth Package: 2 Opened by: Penn Contained: Jennifer Players remaining: Jiggle
Congrats, Jiggle! You are the new HoH. Jiggle was in package 4.
Nomination ceremony to be up shortly.

{Nomination Ceremony 2: Jiggle } Hello all. I certainly wasn't expecting to win this head of household, because it was luck basJiggle. But now that I've won it, I have to nominate two people for eviction this week. Unfortunately, I heard that not many of you were comfortable with me being head of household, and while that was noteworthy, what was even more interesting was the lack of conversations I had. It definitely seems like some of you want to be here more than others, but my nominations are going to reflect our conversations, and if I can tell where you stand in this game. And we're off... Hilarie, you are safe. Brant, you are safe. Brittany, you are safe. Jennifer, you are safe. Kristen, you are safe. Shay, you are safe. Tom, you are safe. James, you are safe. Zooey, you are safe. Three keys remain: Alex, Badger and Hal Badger, you are safe. alexavhalavbr] As you can see, I have nominated you Alex, and you Hal, for eviction. Alex, I am not sure that we've spoken once throughout this competition. If we have, I honestly don't remember it, and you didn't approach me at all about me being HOH. Therefore, it shouldn't come as much of a shock that you're nominatJiggle. Hal, I know you were nominated last week, and you approached me last night, but I didn't feel a great connection in our conversation. I just can't really tell where your head was at. Best of luck to everyone in the Power of Veto. This nomination ceremony is adjournJiggle.

{POV 2 Ceremony} Hey everyone! Sorry to keep you all waiting. This was definitely unexpected and I still can't believe I won! Regardless, a decision has got to be made. I'm going to be short and sweet and try not to drag this out.
Guys, you know I love you both, but I just can't use the Power of Veto. At this point in the game, I am choosing to honor Jiggle's nominations and leave them as they are. Good luck to you both and don't stop fighting.
This veto meeting is adjournJiggle.

{HOH 3}
chatonic.com/room/big_brother_starz/HoH will take place in the chat room linked above. Password is pennbadgley. Welcome to this week's HoH competition! I've received some help from 7 of our viewers/past players, and your job is to see how well you can match them. In live chat, I will give you guys the question that I asked our viewers. You will then have 15 seconds to IM me your answer. For each viewer that your answer matches, you get +1 point. I will not be announcing the score or correct answers live, but I will be providing the results in a very timely manner after the challenge is over.
Sample Question: Awesome Penn is soooooo awesome. He's so awesome that they decided to name a ________ after him. (noun)
Jon answers 'city.' Firecrotch answers 'town.' Simon answers 'constellation.' Zachary answers 'sex position.' Sebby answers 'city.' Aaron answers 'game series.' Sarah answers 'city.'
If you had answered city/town, you would have got 4 points. An answer like star/constellation would have got you 1 point. Sex position would have earned you a point. And saying game/game series would have got you a point. Obviously, answers do not have to be an EXACT match, but judgement of whether answers match will be predominantly up to me with the help of my HC staff as needJiggle.

{Nomination Ceremony 3: Shay} Hey all! First off, I wanted to say I totally wasn't expecting to be HoH this week… but, you know
But, unfortunately, that means I have to nominate two of you for elimination… and, well, my first choice took herself off the table before I could put her up.
Not to be rude or anything… it just makes this even more difficult. I want to thank everyone who approached me (which I do think was everyone! yay!) with some conversations or some deals or whatever. Since I haven't been around much prior to winning this HoH, I'm really glad that I got what really feels like a second chance to get to know everyone who's left a little. And, without further delay, your keys:
Brittany, you are safe.
James, you are safe.
Zooey, you are safe.
Badger, you are safe.
Hilarie, you are safe.
Kristen, you are safe. That leaves Brant, Jiggle, Hal, and Tom.
Brant, you are also safe.
The last key I have:
Hal, you are safe.
edavtomav/div]
I have nominated Jiggle and Tom for eviction.
Jiggle, I know we've talked a little, but I never really felt like we had much of a connection. You pointed out that you didn't nominate me last week, which I appreciate, but it isn't really much of a selling point, and, no offense, but a retroactive deal seems like kind of a cop out. This is absolutely nothing personal, but I can't really tell where your head is at, and in our few conversations, I haven't really felt anything "click" if you know what I mean.
And as for you, Tom, this isn't anything personal, I just haven't really felt the same connection with you as I have with just about everyone else. Our short conversations have been nice, but not exactly compelling, and I'm sorry that I've got to put you up for possible eviction, but unfortunately I can't keep everyone safe.
Good luck to everyone in the POV challenge! I now declare the nomination ceremony adjournJiggle.

{ POV 3: Wish Upon A Star}
Welcome to this week's Power of Veto challenge! We're venturing to a place known to many. A magical place where dreams come true, princesses are always rescued, and you might even get a genie to grant you a wish, or two... or three. That's right, we're going to Disney World!
Hidden around the board are 10 images (or hidden image links), each with a scene or illustration that represents a classic Disney movie. Your first task is to find as many of the images as you can to help you with this challenge. They are numbered 1-10.
After you find an image, you can use that image to try to crack into the locked board here in the backyard that correlates to that image. The password for the board will somehow be derived from the picture. For example, picture 1 will be used to get into board 1, picture 2 will be used to get into board 2, etc. If the above title image were a sample, some of the possible passwords might be: tree, epcot, castle, tower, hollywood, skyline, four, clouds, attractions, sphere. (All passwords will be one word and lowercase letters only.) Some of those passwords make more sense than others, but any of them are applicable. There is obviously a tree in the picture. The Epcot center is shaped like a sphere. Clearly, some passwords require more thought and guess-work than others.
Either way, the 10 hidden photos/links will provide you with a starting point to try to get into as many of the locked boards as possible. Once inside a locked board, you will notice that Genie has left 3 wishes. 3 wishes each in 10 locked boards makes for 30 wishes possible. If you want one of the 3 wishes, you need to claim it IN THAT BOARD. You can only take a maximum total of 3 wishes overall, and you may NOT take more than 1 wish from the same board (it is possible that not all players will get 3 wishes). It is first come, first serve, however, so you may also not take any wishes that have already been taken.
To take a wish from a board, simply be the first to post in that board with the wish that you want. However, once you take a wish, it is final! You may NOT delete any posts you make in these boards, or you will be disqualifiJiggle. Thus, you may not want to just grab the first three wishes you see. It might behoove you to wait to see what other wishes you might uncover, but at the same time, don't wait too long, or the wishes you want could be gone when you come back to claim them!
The PoV winner will be the person who accumulates the most points (some wishes will give points, take away points, give items, or take away items). But if the PoV is what you're after, then your goal is to get as many points as you can.
This challenge may seem somewhat complex, but if you take the time to read the rules, it is all spelled out for you. Failure to follow a rule due to skimming the instructions will not earn you any sympathy from me.
All wishes must be claimed by 10pm EST Saturday for them to count. At that point, I will reveal the wishes, scores, and PoV winner. If for some reason all wishes are claimed before then, I will reveal the results early if possible. Good luck!
Instructions in a nutshell:
1. Find hidden images. 2. Use hidden images to crack password-locked boards. 3. Select a maximum of three wishes total by claiming them in the locked boards. 4. Earn the most points to win PoV.
Good Luck!
{POV 3 Results} Apologies for the delayed results. I think I had a bit too much to drink last night.
Let's see how everyone did! [brbadgermwbr]Badger claimed 1 wish. It was Genie's lamp, which gave him the ability to steal any one wish. He stole a wish that Brant had claimJiggle. It was Snow White's apple. This wish was a punishment. Because Badger ate the apple, he will be unable to compete in the HoH challenge next week. Sorry, Badger! [brbrantmwbr]Brant claimed 1 wish. But since it was stolen by Badger, Brant will walk away with nothing. [brbrittanymwbr]Brittany claimed 3 wishes. She got Rafiki's intuition, which will provide her with some intel from Big Brother. She also claimed Pinnochio's Puppet Master wish which gives her an extra vote to be used this round, and she claimed the Fox and the Hound's Protection wish, which will also give her an extra vote to be used this round. That means that Brittany will have 2 extra votes to be used in this week's eviction vote. Even if Brittany ends up a nominee, she would still have these 2 votes to cast against her fellow nominee if she so choses. [bredmwbr]Jiggle claimed 1 wish for a total of 5 points. [brhalmwbr]Hal claimed 3 wishes for a grand total of 21 points. [brhilariemwbr]Hilarie claimed 2 wishes for a total of 20 points. [brjamesmwbr]James claimed 2 wishes. One was the Beauty and the Beast Uprising wish, which allowed him to give -2 to any player for this challenge. He chose to give Tom the -2 points. His second wish that he claimed was The Little Mermaid's Tongue-Tied wish, which would allow him to break the tie if more than one player tied to win this PoV. We will see if that wish is needed as we continue with the results. [brkristenmwbr]Kristen claimed 1 wish for 4 points. [brshaymwbr]Shay claimed 3 wishes for a total of 20 points. [brtommwbr]Tom claimed 4 wishes, which was against the rules. He is thus unable to win the PoV. [brzooeymwbr]Zooey claimed 3 wishes. 2 of her wishes gave her 16 points total, while the 3rd wish was Bambi II's x2 multiplier. This wish would multiply her total points by 2, which means she has a grand total of 32 points. That also makes Zooey our PoV winner!
Congrats, Zooey. The PoV ceremony will be posted shortly.
Board Passwords 1 - sea 2 - fawn 3 - spell 4 - curfew 5 - puppet 6 - asleep 7 - apple 8 - pride 9 - sunset 10 - moss
Board 7 was accidentally left empty. The wishes from board 6 were meant to be in board 7, and the original wishes from board 6 were left out. Because wishes had already been claimed before this was realized, I simply left the board empty, and the challenge continued with the original board 6 wishes being excluded from the challenge. I apologize for the error.
